I’m Dr. Selda Koydemir.
I practice as a psychotherapist, professional coach, and organisational consultant, offering services both online and in person in central London.
About me
I hold a first degree and a PhD in Mental Health Counselling, along with a postdoctoral speciality in Personality Psychology. I have undertaken extensive training in person-centred therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and existential therapy.
Over the past two decades, I have assisted clients in my private practice, hospitals, and universities.
I offer both psychotherapy and professional coaching to individuals, and consultation to organisations seeking to enhance employee wellbeing.
I’ve had senior lecturer and researcher roles across Europe. Currently, I’m an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bamberg.
I also conduct regular emotional wellbeing workshops and share insights at public events and professional conferences.

I see my clients either in person in central London or online.

Psychological Flexibility Training 1:1
Psychological flexibility allows you to navigate life’s ups and downs without being overwhelmed.
This three meeting, 1:1 live training (200 minutes in total) will help you master the key aspects of psychological flexibility.
You’ll have an expert guiding you every step of the way, tailoring strategies to your unique challenges.
Professional Coaching Services
While psychotherapy is for a deep self-examination, coaching is for those who would like to get better in their careers, maximise their performance, identify and tackle things that hold them back in life, and learn certain skills to fulfil their goals.
I’m especially experienced in working with high performers to help them get organised and balance their professional and daily lives, and working with leaders who want to gain emotional strength, handle burnout, and cope with uncertainty and stress.
